I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review, and here it is:

I have always had a fascination with Graffiti, growing up in Atlanta and then moving to other cities, it was enjoyable to see how the art of tagging evolved and changed depending on which region I was in. And of course I cannot forgot the amount of awesome art seen while taking a train from place to place, so many tunnels and box cars, giant moving canvases!

I love graffiti as an art form. This book is a great view of the art being done in and around South African cities. I had not been aware that tagging was so dangerous in SA. In the US, graffiti artists risk fines, community service and jail time but South Africans must avoid getting shot by security guards or even police. A gorgeous look at South African graffiti. It includes a history of the art in that region, and many interviews and quotes from the artists themselves. After reading this book I started learning more about artists like these. (Provided by publisher)
