I read this book in one day! From the beginning to the end the book left me wanting more and at one point, left me in tears. If you thought "The Sibylline" was a great book, then your going to absolutely fall in LOVE with the "The Symblon". I definitely see myself cuddling up in bed and reading it again. I'm looking forward to the third book. Great job Mrs. Colvin!!!!!!

When you've finished reading a book, several days have passed and you are STILL thinking about the story and characters then you KNOW it's an awesome book!

I was so excited when I knew book 2 was being released and I wasn't disappointed!

The story of Alex and Valeria continues fantastically as they endure heartbreaking pain to be united in their love once again....but who and what can be trusted in their journey to get there?

I love the way this author writes! People, places, scenery and feeling

Ms Colvin takes an interesting subject, Greek Mythology, and turns it into the most evocative, engaging, and visually arresting characters I have ever encountered. If you don't find yourself living the story line, feeling the angst, the longing, the betrayal, the emotions, along with the characters, you may be living impaired.
Continuing her love story for the ages, Ms Colvin's second book of the trilogy is proof she has mastered her craft. Delving deeper into each character, expanding natural
Ms. Colvin does it again! From start to finish, I was moved by the emotionally charged story that unfolds. As book 2 of a trilogy, the author did an artistic job of taking you deeper into the world of the immortals where I found myself falling more in love with Alex and Valeria as well as cheering on new character who unseemingly vies for the reader's affection. Throughout the book, Ms. Colvin planted well-placed seeds of intrigue keeping me curious to find answers/explanations in book 3 without ...more
Wow! I loved book number one, and frankly didn't think it could get ANY BETTER, boy, was I mistaken!!! The Symbolon is my very favorite book of all time! That speaks volumes bc I have read hundreds of amazing books. With this one......Delia takes you on a thrilling, sometimes frightening, love inspired trip around the world! I found myself completely hooked from page one. I don't know how she does it, but she does it, and VERY WELL!!!!! This book is perfect for not only women, but men as well, a ...more

Another 5-STAR GRAND SLAM from Delia Colvin. No doubt that I am biased, but this is truly a magnificent work. As the story continues from The Sibylline Oracle, Delia is able to drive the intensity of drama and intrigue to a new level.

This story caused me to cry, laugh, and stirred so much anger, that I wanted to see Alex knock Paolo TO THE MOON!

I could not help but fall in love with the relationship between Alex and Valeria while being so thankful for the support and friendship they both have w

I always get a bit leery before reading a sequel; I never think it will live up to the standards of the first. I felt this way before reading The Symbolon. I genuinely loved the Sibylline Oracle so much, I didn't want to risk the good high I got reading it! Well, I just finished The Symbolon, and can honestly say I might have loved it more than the Sibylline Oracle! Again, I did NOT want to put it down, and got fully entranced in every single character!
Please hurry with the third book, as I'm d

The Symbolon was a great continuation of the love story between Alex and Valeria! It was full of exciting twists and turns- all of which were eluded too and yet still caught me off guard! It kept me reading and praying nap time would last longer so that I could finish the book before my son woke up! I would love to see it as a movie! Great read!

Read the first few paragraphs, and then tell me that this woman isn't one of today's foremost wordsmiths. I got sucked in within about 2 minutes, and finished this book in a single sitting. Yes, obviously I did have to urinate occasionally but I'm sure you know what I mean.

I thought the first book was great but this one was even better! Delia's writing takes you further into the world of Valeria and Alex and their great love for each other. You will hang on to every word as you read their story. long do I have to wait for the next book??
Ms Colvin is on my Must-Read list. I can't wait to see where she goes from here!

I can't believe Colvin has managed to do it yet again! I shall be purchasing the rest of the books in this series as quickly as possible, and I can very definitely see it ending up on the national curricula of several countries; especially the enlightened ones!!

I just hope I'm lucky enough to get first crack at reading this book!!!!

I re-read the first book of the series, "The Sibylline Oracle," before I read this one and thought, "Wow, HOW will author Delia Colvin top THAT??" THEN I read this book, "The Symbolon," and upon finishing it thought, "So THAT'S how!" Throughout the book you cannot help but meld yourself into one with the story's main character, Valeria, as she rides a seemingly endless roller coaster of the highs and lows of what is like to experience love and lost
I am absolutely amazed at how effortlessly this author draws you into the world of Alex and Valeria. ... and THEN, you're HOOKED! The trials and tribulations that these two soulmates must endure, will leave you spellbound. Their undying love for one another is tested again and again. The storyline is GENIUS! This second book of the Sibylline Trilogy was well worth the wait. The Symbolon will take you on an adventure that you could NEVER imagine. As Ms. Colvin leads you deeper and deeper into the ...more
When I got this book I didnt realize it was the second in a trilogy! I fell in love with the characters and it was extremely well written. I couldnt stop reading this book and I am really dying for more. The author painted a vivid picture in my head, thus having an extremely awesome ability at describing scenes, characters and what is going on. I really must recommend this book. I am looking forward to grabbing the other books in this trilogy as soon as I can have a chance. Sexy characters, dang ...more

I won this book on I was expecting a fantasy/paranormal book and it had a lot more romance in it than I anticipated. However, the novel pulls you in from the first chapter. "The Symbolon" kept me reading until I finished it. It had a great imaginative storyline and interesting characters. I can see a big audience that would enjoy this book and the other two in the trilogy. I plan on sending my copy to someone else I know. I bet she will enjoy it.

I just finished the Symbolon and of course Delia does it again. This book was amazing, I couldn't put it down. I was so heart broken through out the book and than happy towards the end. this is a must read. I just can't wait for the next book. 5 stars all the way!!!!!

Delia this one is for you.... I'm not even done the book yet and I'm already rating the Symbolon five stars. I just love it so much.

loved this one even more than the first, i am so looking forward to the next volume!
If you read book one of Delia's The Sibylline Trilogy, The Sibylline Oracle, and loved it, you will not be disappointed with The Symbolon. It's hard, because I hate when reviewers spoil it for readers and give the main plot away, but there are just some things that must be mentioned. And The Symbolon is all about finally trying to get these two soul mates (Alex & Valeria), the symbolons, together -- this time, forever. And they are so close. The only thing that stands in their way is approva ...more

So I am not overly surprised, by what I feel, is way to high of a rating for this book. A lot of people will stop reading a series after Book 1 if they are not too into it. Those that continue are "In-lust" with the series.

That being said, I felt that this book was mediocre at best. I was really behind the concept and the theory. I love books that involve mythology and "soul mates" or "perfect matches." However, there are quite a few things that throw me off. First and foremost, this author's u
Alex and Valeria are set to wed. Alex wants to make it official by going to the Council of Oracles for an approved immortal wedding.

All seems fine until a mysterious man catches Alex's attention and seems to keep doing so.

At the hearing just as they were to be announced official, the mysterious man objects. He is the brother of the sister who was also an immortal and thereby voiding any other marriage, that Alex had married centuries before in an attempt to live some sort of life. Little did he
I really enjoyed the first book, and I enjoyed this one even more :)
The Symbolon, Book 2, was a much better book than Book 1. The story line wasn't choppy and the characters were well developed. The only complaint I have is the use of any profanity. I believe this demeans the quality of her beautiful work (and it is a beautiful work). The profanity seems added as if to get an "adult" rating for her book which stands just fine on its own. The books opens with Alex and Valeria planning their wedding, and Ms. Colvin is excellent in pulling the reader into the beaut ...more

I couldn't wait to start book 2 of the trilogy. You do think to yourself just how will the author continue the story from the first book......oh boy she does a great job!!

The book started with a bit of a shock, especially knowing about Alex's undying love for Cassandra, it did surprise me but then you learn it was in the past.

So the moment has finally come for the soul mates Alex and Cassandra to marry but before they do they have to meet in front of the council of immortals for permission. Thi

The Symbolon is the second book in The Sibylline Trilogy, and not having the pleasure of reading the first book, I had a difficult time getting into the story of Alex and Valeria.

The first five chapters had a number of references to what I am assuming are incidents or situations established in the first book which, unfortunately, left me with a lot of unanswered questions. It was at this point that I almost gave up.

I stumbled across this book downloaded it to my kindle as a maybe some day when I run out of books book to read. When I decided to read it just a week or so later I couldn't really remember much of what it was about. I didn't realize that this was book 2 of a series until I was a little was in to it.

From the very beginning this book had me, it was a page turn from beginning to end. I felt like that person that goes on that show that buys something at a garage sale and turns out it priceless. Si
