I received an e-copy of this book from Opal Campbell at Astraea Press via my daughter.
The cover is okay, I don't think it stands out as much as it could do, but it fits in with the book.
The main character Kienna works at a bridal shop and that's how she meets the poor groom whose bride doesn't really love him. What would you do in Kienna's place? Tell the groom? Just keep quiet? You know from the blurb above that the bride ends up jilting the poor groom at the alter in the end anyway. W

I received this book in a Goodreads First reads Giveaway!

I cannot recall how many times I have just caressed the cover of the book over the last week! It's marvelous and so pretty! and being the book nerd I am couldn't help but swoon over the smell of a new book!

I finished reading this book within 1 day and I cant help but love the characters. All those perfect imperfections, their vulnerability, and a feeling of hope... isn't that what life is all about? I liked the fact that how Kienna even a

Divorce is a thing which has a tendency to kill all the romantic feeling between the estranged couple. But Kienna works in a Bridal Store where she sells romance everyday. Therefore, although she wants to stop feeling, romance is deeply embedded in her. So when the handsome Blake comes by, she finds it very difficult to not have feelings for him. But he is the groom of her client. If they are meant to be together, why is Blake marrying someone else?

First off I love the cover and title. They are stunning and caught my eye. The story was beautifully written and drew me in. Kienna has been hurt and doesn't trust easily. But deep down she just wants to be loved. I think that all girls want that. Kienna also has career opportunities arise that she has always dreamed about. Will she go for them? Or will she stay where she is comfortable?

Blake is a great guy but he is not perfect. Rachelle is a very selfish girl and very devious. Watch out she w

I picked this book because I have been in the wedding mind set as I am engaged and planning my wedding. As I picked this book, I was not able to put this book down as I got to know Rachelle, Blake and Kienna and got to know their world, falling in love with this book. It is light, romantic, perfect book to read on a rainy morning.

As you start out reading the e-book, it is easy to squirm as

Never say never to love!

Kienna loves to help others on their wedding day, but no longer believes in marriage herself. Her divorce broke her heart and took away her belief in Happily Ever Afters. So when she realizes one of the brides doesn’t really love her groom she does her best to save him the same heartache she had, but he won’t listen. Blake the groom is positive that his fiancé loves him, but when she leaves him at the altar he wishes he would have listened to Kienna. Surprisingly he only

(This book was gifted in exchange for an honest review.)

Everyone loves a wedding! – Don’t they? Especially those working in a bridal gown store.
Not Kienna. For Kienna her wedding represented false promises based on lies, and she has no intention of forgetting such a harsh lesson. One marriage, brief though it had been was enough for her.

For Blake Reynolds a wedding – his wedding – represented sharing his future with the woman he loved. But anything could, and did, happen before the ‘I do’s.’

"Wedding Gown Girl" by Kathy Bosman was a good 'heartwarming romantic read where the setting was in South Africa. This was a good read of one finding love even when you don't believe in it any more. We find Kienna who has been hurt but really all she wants is to be loved, so when the great career opportunity arises when she go for it? Blake is one good guy but not perf

This is the sweetest romance I've read in a long time. The emotions experienced by the main character Kienna feels real and honest. The story flows gently, tagging you along on Blake and Kienna's journey.

Both have a lot to learn about themselves and each other and the author stays real when portraying their struggle.

If you want a romance that will have you exclaiming "Oh sweet!" this is the one for you.
Literary Chanteuse
The magic between Kienna and Blake was just not compeling enough to really make them a winning couple. They were a little too wishy washy and seemed to yo yo back and forth with emotions. The love for each other happened too quickly which made it a little unbelieve. It still had some fun twists and the characters did have some good merits. You may enjoy this particulairly if you love reading about brides and weddings. Over all okay but unfortunately not great. 2.5 stars

Kathy Bosman's, Wedding Gown Girl, a sweet modern romance, set in South Africa, has it all. A dynamic hero, a feisty heroine and a loveable cast of cats and dogs to make you happy with pure goodness. I loved watching Blake and Kienna fall in love in spite of their rather 'unique' first meeting! Looking forward to reading more of Ms. Bosman.

Kathy loves reading and writing even more. She homeschools her three children, so in between unsuccessfully explaining the difference between subject and predicate or how to divide fractions, she enters an imaginary world of troubled and passionate characters whose stories take over the page. Kathy lives in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, where the summers are hot, the winters cool, and bugs thrive. ...more
