I thought this was an interesting story about life during the Vietnam war. It captured what Bao went through during those turbulent times living with the threat of bombs, fighting, soldiers among you. Such tragedy she experienced from such a young age of life and having to witness the effects of a war torn country and how it affected her and her families lives.
