Rebecca takes us to Amish country in Delaware and Pennsylvania for her book. Jedidiah Ladd meets Sarah Mast when he visits Delaware. After seeing her only twice, he can't keep his mind off her although he knows since he lives in Pennsylvania it is unlikely he will see her again. Sarah has a picture of Jedidiah in her mind after he saves her twin brothers' lives. She can't stop thinking about him; but puts him out of her mind as often as possible to care for her ill mother.

Jedidiah attended Spence's Bazaar in Delaware with his uncle to sell woodcraft items and plants. The Bazaar was a large one and worth the trip from his home in Happiness, PA in Amish Lancaster County. While there he rescues a set of twins chasing a puppy into the path of a car and meets their older sister, Sarah Mast. The next day they meet again at Sunday service and spend a wonderful day together before he heads home. Due to her Mother's health issues, Sarah takes her younger brothers to visit ...more

Jedidiah's Bride is a Amish romance. It is a very clean romance with characters I enjoyed.

Sarah Mast's mother has been ill for a while now. Sarah has pitched in taking care of cooking and her young twin brothers. Sarah is a hard worker always doing for others. While selling her baked goods at a sale her brothers get away from her and almost get run over.
Jedidiah is at the sale helping his Uncle sale his wood carvings and his mother's plants. He sees the twins in danger and gets them ou

This story of an Amish maiden is second in the 'Brides of Lancaster County' series and I had not read the first but this stands alone.

Sarah Mast and her lively young twin brothers are off to the market in Dover, Delaware. They have their family farm produce, herbs and baked goods to sell. Pennsylvania man Jedidiah Lapp is trading his handmade wooden products like bird houses, shelves and side tables at the market. He's travelled further from Lancaster County because Englisch people like to buy

The storyline was OK but the character development wasn't as good as the first book in this series. I didn't enjoy Sarah mostly because she had such a negative outlook on everything! She loved Jedidiah but she seriously lacked any kind of faith and I just don't enjoy books with whiners in it.

Great story! I love books with an Amish there. This is the second Rebecca Kertz book I've read and look forward to the next.
