This was an amazing mystery novel, and its setting was unlike anything I've ever read about before. The author does a fantastic job of describing the scenery and characters.

Wow what a mystery!! I do believe Howie was a selfish coward 16yr old boy who let his sister be abducted. He tried to right his wrong by turning to a life of religion. All he did with his brain injury was justifiable. And, although I believe he's redeemed, him remembering after all this time drove him to kill himself and Luke the Fluke!! Yes it was John Luke Grasso who killed Annie, and now its all come full circle absolution!!
