This is an awesome book to read for the 100 th day of school celebration. It gives students great ideas and ways to multiply and divide. It also has lots of patterns. Great for text to self connections to get students to think of ways they can divide up things. For example, if the class had 15 student and the teacher has 100 cookies how many would each student get.

This can be used for the 100th day of school. Students can then discuss numbers and number patterns, such as 5s, 10s, 20s, etc.

Another option is discussing division with students, such as having 100 balloons and there are 25 students. If each person gets 4 balloons, then how many balloons are there?
This would be a fun book to read when celebrating the 100th day of school. It is a great introduction to the idea. It can be used on that day to discuss ideas of division. Mostly with 100 (of course).
