I really liked the heroine Sage. All her life she has been moving from one thing to the next searching for her bliss, she may find it where she least excepts it. Aiden is one yummy hero. He comes across as the sexy SEAL known in Tawny's SEALs. Aiden steps up to bat for Sage with their Mission Marriage, fake an engagement to help Sage's ailing father. One of my favorite scenes is the whole set up of the fake engagement and they way Aiden finds out about it. One thing these two didn't count on is ...more
A SEAL’s Kiss by Tawny Weber is one of the best Harlequin romances that I have read in a long while. And I believe this to be my very first Tawny Weber as well. I found myself impressed with the way Tawny drew me into the story right from the very beginning, entertaining me with a wit that I found irresistible, a hero that I could have drooled over forever and a heroine that spoke to me at every single level. more ...

This was pretty much what I've come to expect from category romance: short, fast, fun, and ultimately a little bit forgettable. I don't mean that to sound as terrible as I think it does - like I said, I thought it was fun. But it's kind of like a summer Popsicle. Sweet and perfect in the moment, but it'll never replace dinner.

As for the book itself, I felt like Aiden offered some surprises. I like the juxtaposition of the geek who finds his place in the military and becomes a badass with a brill
A SEAL's Kiss....(Uniformly Hot) ..... By Tawny Weber

Sage Taylor is known by her friends and family as a bit of a "Free Spirit". She loves to travel and learn new things about countries and people for a few months at a time. She is home in Villa Rosa, California after a disastrous relationship with a wannabe rock star in Seattle. When he threatened to jump off the balcony of their first floor apartment, she decided to cut her losses and headed home for a visit.

Sage is the last of her circle of

Sage has spent her life looking for bliss, never staying in one place for long and changing jobs in her search. Meanwhile, her friends are looking for love and getting married. Now she is the only one left who is single. So when she returns home to find that her best friend has just eloped and persists in fixing her up with blind dates, Sage blurts out that she is eng

Tawny Weber writes a wonderfully sweet, silly and sad story about two people who are perfect for each other. Who have loved each other all their lives but instead of seeing the similarities have always seen the differences.

Sage Taylor is not your typical girl next door even if she did grow up in small town America.. has had the same friends for her entire life and her father is a Professor at the local college. That may have form

Sage Taylor's friends marry and she's the perennial bridesmaid. She's not looking for anyone special and thinks of Aiden Masters as a nice guy who practically grew up with her. He's a Navy SEAL now, but she knew him as a bright kid who got gifted coaching from her professor father; he came to live with them after his parents were killed. That kind of friendship is too close for romance. Only when her father is diagnosed with a serious illness does Taylor see how she's been avoiding issues. Such ...more
This was just an OK read. Normally, I really like the geek-meets-flaky settings, but for some reason I could not get into this one. It was funny and charming in the beginning but towards the end everything felt too forced. Sorry, not for me.

3 Stars for the LOLs and the hot cover.
A SEAL’s Kiss by Tawny Weber is the fourth SEAL book with members of the SEAL team from Coronado. We are once again treated to a decadent story. Meet free spirit Sage Taylor who has enjoyed a life of travel and unfortunately been in one too many unsatisfying relationships. Determined not to let her married friends get the best of her, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Sage has finally had enough of her married friends meddling in her personal life and is done with being set-up. So ...more

While this novel didn’t connect with me as much as A SEAL’s Salvation did, this is another solid, sensual romance by Tawny Weber. This novel’s themes are the girl next door, but it’s taken in such a sideways manner and with fun characters who neither trust themselves nor the other where emotions are concerned that the novel comes across as pretty unique.

Aiden practically grew up with Sage when her professor father adopted him intellectually when he p

Two characters that were meant to be but fear of commitment seemed to override their love.

I loved the storyline of this book, it was sweet and funny. I found Sage to be a fun woman that loved to make Aiden horny as hell and didn’t like following rules. Now as for Aiden he was a serious SEAL but his reasoning for going along with the fake engagement was weak. Now as for him following his own rule #4 that I had to see and he did good at the very beginning but Sage was better. Loved how she was abl

This is one of those stories like the second chance love stories that I really enjoy. The fact that they had a history of being friends for such a long time. Though Sage hadn't seen Aiden as anything more than a friend and her father's mentee for many years. That is until she comes back home to find her father ill.

One of the things I really liked about this story was the chemistry between Sage and Aiden, it was even present before either of them noticed it. Something that many of their friends h

A Seal’s Kiss has all of the elements I love in a romance – a free spirited heroine, a geeky but hunky hero and a fake engagement. What could be better? Throw in a major dose of sexual tension and you have perfection!

Sage Taylor loves her professor father. When he gets sick, she agrees to pretend to be engaged to his protégé, Navy Seal Aiden Masters, a man she has grown up with and resisted having a crush on for many years. But can she resist the sexy Seal, the one man who epitomizes everything
In A SEAL’s Kiss by Tawny Weber, Sage Taylor has spent her life looking for her happiness. She has never stayed in any place for too long, and has changed jobs just as often in her search for it. In the meantime, her friends have been getting married and having kids. When she returns home she finds out that her best friend has just eloped and that she is the last single left.

Now she has her best friends persisting on setting her up on blind dates. So in desperation Sage blurts out that she is e
I love this series and I love this book just as much as the others. When Sage comes home she learns that her father is sick with cancer, and her friends keep harassing her about getting married. She ends up telling them that she is engaged to her long time friend Aiden, who is also her father’s protégé. Sage’s father has tutored Aiden for years because he has always been too smart for his age. So when Aiden lost his parents when he was 17 years old in the 9/11 attacks her father invited him to l ...more

I can not pass up reading about Seals especially when they classified as HOT. This book was no exception and having read this author before knew I would be in for a treat. Even though there are not any military missions or the like there still is a mission in here that comes about, could even be said to be a secret operation. Just not quite though the same as what Aiden is used to though but all the same a mission:engagement. Sage-a long time friend, plus close to her father Aiden is will soon l ...more

I was given this ARC for an honest review. This book is about Sage Taylor, a free-spirited woman who has known Navy Seal Aiden Masters for years due to the fact that Sage's father is a brilliant professor who took Aiden under his wing years ago when he realized just how brilliant Aiden was. Sage has always had the hots for Aiden. Aiden has always had the hots for Sage but, he never let her know because, 1. He and Sage's father are so close. and 2. It drives him crazy that Sage is so flighty and, ...more

Tawny Weber has done it again!! This is a spicy read with a lot of humor. Although the story is the 4th book in Ms. Weber's Seal Team sagas, this story will stand alone also. Sage is a slightly quirky fun loving young lady who is constantly in search - but she doesn't know what she is searching for. Aiden is a straight up Navy Seal who was a gifted child prodigy that spent a lot of his youth around Sage's Professor father. Sage comes home for a visit only to be nagged by her best friends about f ...more

I'm not sure why I haven't read a military romance before, especially considering my husband is in the military and I have more friends and family that I can count that have military experience, it's definitely a lifestyle I can relate to. I think I was expecting that this would have more of a military theme to it, but the SEAL in the story was basically on leave the whole time, so if you are expecting more of a military theme t
Page Three and you KNOW that free-spirited Sage Taylor and Navy SEAL Aidan Masters are meant for each other! So why read the story? One VERY important reason is that A SEAL’s Kiss is the product of the mind of Tawny Weber, who knows how to write HOT romance between two people who fight it every step of the way. Sage is a likable woman who enjoys the “bliss” in life, always ready for her next great adventure, trying to leave her mark on the world, fighting for what she feels are just causes. Aida ...more

I loved reading my second Tawny Weber book. It's, of course, another one about the SEALs and it followed up from Brody ( A SEALs Salvation), who does make a brief appearance in the book which was awesome.

So let's go back a little, we meet our two characters Aiden & Sage, who happen to be lifelong friends, Aiden who is a genius & Sage who is a bit of a free spirit. They rarely see each other and have mostly stayed in contact via Sage's blog and

I really like the author's style of writing in this book (this is the first book by Tawny Weber I've read). She is a very good writer but I really didn't like the female main character, Sage. She is what you would call a "free spirit" and to me she was very wishy-washy. I don't know why Aiden loved her. Then there was Aiden, he is supposed to be very smart. He only needed a few courses to finish up 4 different masters degrees. We don't know what they are or what he could have

With each new book in the series, I think that this is my favorite book. I love Sage and Aiden. Everyone thinks that Sage is a big flake because she flits from one thing to the next and Aiden is the steady one. Maybe they are right and maybe they are not. When Sage comes home to another friend who has gotten married, she decided to get everyone off her back by saying that she was engaged. Then she finds out her father is very sick and to make him feel better she just let him believe that she and ...more

I love reading military romances and Tawny Weber's "A SEAL's Kiss" was a sweet, but sometimes predictable read.
I'd say that the heroine and hero of the book, Sage and Aidan were total opposites, it worked for me, since Sage's free spirited character and Aidan's stoic, sometimes gruff behaviour completed each other.
But, I found that Sage was a little bit too air headed for a grown woman regarding her feelings and emotions. Since she was a successfull in

I had a lot of fun reading this book. One of my favorite things to read about is a Seal falling in love. Add in a smart Seal and you have me on the hook!
I liked Sage, she is a free spirit that knows who she is and what she wants. Aiden has always had a good relationship with her father, and when they discover her father is sick for the sake of his happiness they decide to fake an engagement. Soon however, fake starts to feel real for them both!

If you think the cover is gorgeous, it's only the icing on this delicious cake of a book. It's a very sexy, romantic read that will also make you think about life and what you make it.
To get rid of some friends who keep pestering her to accept dates, Sage, a free-spirited girl, tells them she's engaged to Aiden, her long-time friend. This becomes even more of a problem because her dad hears about it and he's very happy, but he's deathly ill. This is a risky premise, and where too many writers h

It took me a little while to warm up to the H/h in this book: The hero and the flake. They weren't the usual type of characters I am used to reading. The "fake" engagement storyline was pleasant enough, but at times the writing style was awkward and choppy.

Overall, you won't be disappointed with another edition to the Uniformly Hot SEALs series, especially when Aiden gives an ultimatum to Sage:

"Sex between us is going to be mind-blowing," he said, his words low. His eyes were like fire, so hot a
This is a great book. Full of humor and a lot of heat. Sage is the only friend left that is single. Not wanting to be set up by her friends, she tells them she is engaged to super sexy Aiden. When she finds that her father has cancer she doesn't know what to do. Seeing how happy her pretend engagement makes him she keeps pretending. Then Aiden shows up. Knowing nothing about Sage's ruse, he walks in blind to what is going on. Getting all the facts about Her father though, he agrees that they sho ...more
