This is a beautiful Mexican cookbook! There are full page pictures on almost every other page, and a colorful hand drawn map of San Miguel de Allende on the inside flaps (front & back). There is a brief history of San Miguel de Allende, followed by a description of Mexican foods/cooking ingredients, the names & picture of all sorts of Mexican chiles (this comes in handy!), as well as where to find some of the ingredients in the U.S. (Trader Joe's) and how to handle/wash them.
