A few days ago, I read this book. Although a little better than a lot of other books I've read on the subject of nursery rhymes, this book has plenty of rhymes in our. Whether they are old or new, a grandiose amount are in here. Whether it's old king Cole or twinkle twinkle, as long as it's a nursery rhyme, chances are it's in here.

Although the nursery rhyme books I've read in the past were focused on version I did not know or understand, this one did come a little closer to the versions I know

(1879-1929) He wrote and edited, also as Walter Copeland for children. From a theatrical family, he rose to deputy editor of The Observer newspaper, spending most of his life in London. "Tradition in the nursery has acted as a severe editor." Of five daughters (m. Clara Armstrong Bridgman 1895), Ianthe Jerrold (1898–1977) wrote fiction.
