The story was pretty good. But good grief, the abundance of anachronisms that yanked me out of the story! The worst was the lack of understanding of how the average medieval person thought. It messed the conflict all up. The bare idea of marrying for love didn't begin until the Regency era in England. Peasants were more likely to be able to do so.
