The Park II

The tough subject matter of child abduction and pedophilia is featured in The Park II. Though this novel is a work of fiction, I must commend the author for calling attention to the atrocities that are happening to our children everywhere, everyday. Though I'm fairly confident that no time travel is involved in the real life scenario!

A lot of pressure is placed on a sequel. This one is clearer than the first novel in terms of time sequencing, and that's a good thing considering its plot. The read is riveting, and with all the same triggers present (see reviews for The Park) it's still hard to put down. Whereas the first novel seems to meld the murky storytelling with the deterioration of the main character, this one strives to be a bit more traditional,
