An Elephant Editions reprint I feel fully comfortable giving five stars. I had never heard of Alexandre Jacob before this was printed, but his story is one close to my heart. Like many of the more well-known agents of propaganda by the deed, Jacob lives the fast life and pulls no punches when it comes to his commitment to anarchy. Another story worth preserving.
Another biography that reads like an adventure novel in the best of ways. If you enjoyed The Bonnot Gang by Richard Parry, this is a must read. Bernard Thomas' own political views come out, which is interesting and a little distracting given that he does not view propaganda by the deed favorably. Still a great read.
