Solo le quedaba una cosa con la que negociar: su cuerpo

Aferrándose ala última pizca de orgullo que le quedaba, buscó la ayuda del marido al que un día había abandonado, sabiendo que para convencer al implac...more

I strongly suspect there's an editing or file transfer error in this book, because there are two sections that only make sense if you reverse them. First we see Drakon realizing that he had been wrong to believe his new wife would be okay on her own and that he had been pushing her away, just as she accused him of; next we see him asking her yet again why she couldn't have just gone shopping and amused herself with the house when they were married.

Unfortunately, even making that mental reversal,...more
Angsty read , felt for these two characters.Just goes to show that communication is very important in a relationship.
Loved the fact that the hero made a vow not to shave his beard off or cut his hair till his wife returned to him.And not once did he go to another woman,he remained faithful for five and a half years.
I like hiw Drakon knew right off he loves his wife...but not knowing how to show it except with sex, his distancing from Morgan left her cold, especially when the passion run so hot between them. I really dislike Bronwyn and only right at the end do we find out what's her hold on Drakon...I do feel sad for her unrequited love. Morgan's head was messed up by her insecurities and Drakon did pull away ftom her. ..kudos to him for admitting it to her. I just felt if they had opened up more and commu...more
This book left me totally confused at the end of it, and given I enjoy Mills & Boon romances for their simplicity that's not really a good thing. First of all, I wasn't that keen on the relationship between Morgan and Drakon. It starts off being confrontational and ends up being confrontational, to the point why I didn't actually understand why they were together in the first place. Secondly, while I appreciate that this story is one in a series about the Copeland family, I would've liked a...more
Alex is The Romance Fox
If it’s written by Jane Porter, I know without a doubt that I am going to the book. I have read most if not all of her Mills & Boon/Harlequin books and I just love her stories and characters.

The Fallen Greek Wife, which I discovered is the 1st book in her new “The Disgraced Copelands" series (over the moon knowing I am going to get more…..) is a beautiful and at times dark and edgy, sexy love story with two mc’s that just ripped your heart to pieces as you discover how broken and sad both ar...more
For some reason I got out of reading these types of romance but this was really good. I loved the whole mental I'm crazy thing.
I love my alpha heroes with a little sensitivity but this is much not believable and vomit-inducing. not much story either. boy fell for virgin girl. married in haste bliss one month, honeymoon the real life intrudes, er- no. I don't buy it. basically they're both crazy in real should be hospitalized crazy but the hero is a tortured cliche so he hides it and the heroinw can't take it for mere 5months!? she ran and unrealistically they never saw each other or talked in any wa for 5yrs. d...more
Kind of good book. Fantastic start poor middle (seemed to drag on) and a bit of hastily wound up ending. But overall a pleasant read.

Born in Visalia, California, I'm a small town girl at heart. I love central California's golden foothills, oak trees, and the miles of farmland. In my mind, there's nothing sweeter in the world than the heady fragrance of orange blossoms on a sultry summer night.

As a little girl I spent hours on my bed, staring out the window, dreaming of far off places, fearless knights, and happy-ever-after endi...more
