a nice little chill- i found it when reviewing texts from League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. no combination like castles, hallucinations, hags and the insane. mm!

I read this one on the Internt (Munseys.com) and I liked it. Its not too long and the plot is well formed. Description of Irish countryside is very lovely.

Charles Maturin was an Irish Protestant clergyman (ordained by the Church of Ireland) and a writer of gothic plays and novels.
