I really enjoyed Book 1, which may have contributed to my strong dislike of this book. It was EXTREMELY over-narrated and the omniscient author intrusion into even the villains POV was extremely disconcerting.
In Chapter 1, we see into the minds of
1. The hero.
2. The heroine.
3. Random narration that is vaguely the perspective of Villain #1.
4. The heroine.
5. The hero.
6. The heroine.
7. The hero.
8. Villain #1.
9. The heroine.

That's an awful lot of perspectives to burden one chapter with.
And the Vil
Nice enough story. Surprisingly little sex in it, given the other stories in the bundle. A couple of really dastardly villains, a rather helpless and wet-eyed heroine, a gallant hero. A good read.
