Another of the Project Justice series, the best part of this story was the growth in psychological strength of Eric Riggs' 6-yr-old daughter, traumatized in a previous story.

Dr. Brianne Johnson is enchanted with MacKenzie, in part because she lost her own daughter only hours after her birth. She's also attracted to Eric, but fears he doesn't trust her.
