Firstly, one of the biggest reasons I loved this book was the fact that Alison Kent wasn't afraid to tread the interracial romance waters, proving that once again, love is colourblind. I sincerely hope more Blaze authors (and romance writers in general)will finally take the hint.

I was really surprised to discover in this book one of the previous couples struggling through what might have been a big crisis, as they were no longer communicating with each other. At the same time, it felt real not contrived and handled just right. I liked it, as it makes the whole series more realistic and touching.
I liked that the hero, despite his past and my bad expectations, was the one doing the hunting and maneuvering, while the heroine tried to free herself.

I often read of or hear about authors who knew they were meant to tell stories from the time they left the crib. Me?
