This book was fun to read. The Maine coast setting is great and the story keeps you in suspense until the end. It's a great book for kids and adults, whether they love to sail or not.

Good kids story

But as an adult, I enjoyed it too. Good writing style and keeps you engaged. Sort of a Robinson Crusoe/Treasure Island cross. Recommend this for all ages.

A great adventure story for 9-13 year olds, but lots of fun for adults too. If you like sailing, Maine, and a few adventures along the way, this is a great read. The main character learns a bit about growing up and being more responsible. Lessons we all need to be reminded of sometimes.
