This story is a couple hundred words long, and yet has glaring issues that could have been remedied easily enough. The main issue I found with this story is that for a majority of the story it's told in the first person. But them, as soon as the dialogue starts, this is forgotten and replaced with the third person point of view. Another thing that jumped out at me is the overuse of the word "castle". i love flash-fiction stories because they're really short and can impact you with quickly in their tiny fun story. This is just a page long and maybe that could be why some people give these stories a poor rating. I loved it because it set the mood beautifully and was very atmospheric!
