I downloaded this collection and immediately I was impressed. Not only has the author created a believable setting for the stories, Jefferson Falls, but also created believable characters both human and meta human. Mr. Byrns kept the stories tight and what I enjoyed was that he didn't deviate from the main characters POV. What the narrator or main character knew of the meta humans was all that we knew and it helped establish a sense of realism as whenever we are witnesses to an event, we don't k ...more
