It will be difficult to fill this space with life or charge it with energy since the book, which is this entries subject, itself is a languid, uninspiring composition. As are more and more books, Brown's "Diplomacy and the Middle East" is a compilation of several regional experts who each write a chapter on a country of their specialty. The book covers essentially every Middle East country, in that way you have a fairly thorough, cover-to-cover account of the Middle East.
