Any story, is only as good as its villain. But what happens when the story is twisted a bit, so the villain becomes the star of the show, rather than the hero? I am not talking about the Joker, Darth Vader or Blofeld. They exist as foils for their heroic counterparts, Batman, Luke Skywalker and James Bond. The first story didn't really hold my attention as the plot seemed a little convoluted and unless the noir is REALLY good, I'm only a casual fan.

However, the Warden was great. Very comic-book in style. I could see his wicked laugh as he played with and taunted the heroes. While the big battle scene was filled with tension, it took multiple heroes to put our Villain on the run.

And I haven't gotten to the third story yet but I'm starting to get into steampunk and can't wait to see it from a vill
