A Century of Bournemouth is one of those coffee table books that has photos and historical nuggets from Bournemouth's past. As a past resident of Bournemouth it's an interesting read but unfortunately in an attempt to keep costs low I suppose the photos are all black and white and has a very typical approach, not really visiting the breadth of society in its explanation. There are glimpses of interest and many photos that give a comparison to today's Bournemouth compared to the past.
