It is a detailed and useful work in most parts but has no trace of female authors, there isn't a word in there about Jane Austen or the Bronte sisters, Elizabeth Gaskell, George Eliot or Virginia Woolf, I looked around on the internet to see if they were covered in an hypothetical third volume but I found nothing.
