The only drawbacks to the book NOW are the OBE (overcome-by-events) references to same sex unions/weddings not being legally recognized; there are, of course, many nations that have done so.

The book is not to be thought of as something like a fixed Breviary or Book of Hours.....Cranmer would not be pleased. She gives many styles and sources for prayers, readings, poems, blessings, etc. The variety can be confusing to someone as tightly wound as I am. She even includes such luminaries as the Amer
