Comme toujours Wataya nous donne un aperçu éclair mais bien façonné du Japon d'aujourd'hui. Sa façon d'exprimer ce désir d'indépendance que ressentent certaines jeunes femmes, le problème à faire face aux anciennes traditions car ce sentiment, cette nouvelle vision, cette injustice n'arrive pas à percer parmi certains qui ne sont pas encore aptes à l'affronter. Tout ça, entraperçut parmi les lignes de son livre.

09/20 Doux, mais naïf, superflu. Trop japonais, mais sans sa poésie, sa délicatesse. J'ai aimé le personnage d'Ichi à travers les yeux d'Etô. Mais elle, me paraît un peu antipathique pour un personnage principal.

Risa Wataya (綿矢 りさ, born February 1, 1984) is a female Japanese novelist from Kyoto.

Wataya graduated from Murasakino High School in Kyoto.
