This book disappeared from my office for a month so it too much longer to read. While I did learn some things about Korean culture, I did not find anything that would be useful to use with my classes (I teach English in a Korean high school). My rating however is because of two other things. First, every single picture is very low resolution, blurry and pixelated. They do not illustrate what the book is describing because they are almost impossible to distinguish.

The second, far greater problem

My students like this textbook because it deals with issues that are important to them. I've used it in many classes, always with great success.

Yes, it has its problems. For one thing, some of the material has a tendency to become dated rather quickly. A lot of it focuses on the "now" and often particulars of the "now" have changed by the time you get around to discussing them. My advice would be that the publisher do a yearly edition. I know that isn't very cost effective, but it would keep it
