I hadn't ever read any of the Father Brown tales, but I'd heard of them. I picked this up last week, and I have to say that I am really enjoying it.

The tales are short, usually just a few pages, but a lot of fun. Nobody does notice the postman. Chesterton is a keen observer of 'us.' Always a bit of a moral included, as well as a word or two of true wisdom. Though the stories are dated in their physical social setting, they are a bit more than just fun reads. Recommended.

Has a copy to sell/swap
recommends it for: If you like a good mystery with some theology thrown in
Chesterton is a lovely writer--he gets maximum meaning out of every word, sentence, and paragraph. Nice dry sense of humor to boot.
