"Loving Care" by Gail Gaymer Martin is a tender story of second chances and heartache. It is part of the Loving series.

The book began with gusto and never let up. It brought good questions/concerns/possible problems about remarrying an ex-husband and what would be a step-child. It also deals with examining past attitudes and actions of the characters, coming to grips with truth about themselves, and learning to trust God.

I really didn't like this book. I didn't like either character. I thought they were both annoying and immature. I really didn't like anything about Patrick and Christine's relationship either, past or present.

I was not the target demographic for this book. It took me two weeks to finish. A good story. Just not my cup of tea. I'm too young for the divorced couple trying to get back together story line.
