Dom Dane Bennett, his sub Merlin, and Sloan (sub to both Dane and Merlin) are featured once again much to my delight. They were also highlighted in Club Esoteria 1 and included within the Christmas Story for Club Esoteria 4. I recommend reading those beforehand to truly enjoy this magnificent novella.

There is some trouble brewing at home for this trio and it is explosively brought to Dane and Merlin’s attention. Sloan’s cousins come down hard on Dane and Merlin, too, in regard to this trouble s

This is a novella to a follow up story in this series. The angst is high with Sloan and her position, especially financial, her ménage household. The story felt rushed. For 2years, neither Merlin nor Dane about what was going on with Sloan after she had their twins. I find it hard to believe that they can solve that lack of communication in one fell swoop (one paragraph) and don't get me started on how a successful BDSM relationship can thrive without total communication of wants and needs. But ...more

Once again this author has given us a "catch-up" novella that is designed to keep us abreast of the triad that was formed in book 1. Their relationship has wafted in and out throughout the series with their continuing togetherness and the birth of their fraternal twins. Now the realities of living together and parenting 20 month old twin boys comes crashing into their lives and there is lots to do to mend the damage that neglect and taking-for-granted has caused. Another really terrific read ...more

Just a "bring up to date" novella in this series (which I love) about Dane, Merlin, Sloan and their twins.

Communication solves all :)

I always thought I had been born a hundred years too late, but I do appreciate air conditioning, computers and other conveniences of modern day living. I love the slower pace of New Bern, North Carolina as well as the history and small town community. Imagine a neighborhood where people wave at one another and keep eye out for the children. It's like living in the 1950s. In addition to dreaming up ...more
