Poul Anderson has done some great stuff, but FLANDRY is not for me. Perhaps I would have enjoyed this at age 16 or 17, but as an adult I couldn't get past Chapter 2. I skipped to the end. Still no reading joy. Skim this one in a library or used bookstore to decide if it's worth further eading investment. I rate it ~1.5 solar bodies, and not worth rounding up.
