A white girl finds a Native American artifact in her suburban backyard, spends the night outside in a tent and hallucinates. Wakes up. Everything's normal again. If there's any particular depth to this story I fail to find it.

I don't find this kind of illustration appealing. Some of it looks like a photo which has had an ugly filter applied. In fact, I think this actually did happen quite a bit when picturebook illustrators were first migrating to digital back in the mid 1990s. I don't think tha

It was ok book. I thought there would be more pictures of what the open land used to be like. I really am not sure if it would appeal to children - maybe some parents.
