I love this book so much! Honestly this has to be one of my favorite book this year. So much of my expectations were meet and more! There was nothing wrong with this book.
All the characters in this book were on point. Throughout the whole series we get to see how Remy becomes the person she is now, a hero. I absolutely love her character. She was always putting the safety of others before her own safety. She truly has made a lot of sacrifices throughout the series. I w
This is book 3 in the ‘Sense Thieves’ series, and kicks off 4 months after the end of book 2.
This was a good story, and I was glad that we got a happy ending.
I liked Remy and I liked her determination and the love she had for her family, even when things got really bad. She did take some crazy risks at times, but that was just typical Remy really.
I liked the storyline, ev ...more
I really liked how Remy and Lucy was so close in the last two books, so it was sad to see them not getting along in the beginning of this one.
I loved how the love triangle ended, she defiantly ended up with the right guy!
The pacing in this one was perfect. There was loads of action, but it wasn't rushed, and i wasn't bored once.
Overall, A great sequel.
I love Remy. She's a character that has a great balance of strong and vulnerable. Too often heroines in these types of books are either super emotionally weak or they're ridiculously strong. I find myself frustrated because they either collapse in on themselves or they shrug things off way too easily. Remy is someone I feel for and enjoy reading her story. Though she's in a fantasy world, her struggles feel real and endearing.
The shifting dynamics betwee ...more
I still find Remy a very admirable character. She's vulnerable yet strong. Although I can't say I'm a big fan of some of the decisions she made, she still made a kickass heroine.
I believe that this is the last installment in the series and because of that I expected ...more
Like the story inside is some 101 YA-story.
Well ok, maybe a bit. But its still AWESOME!
(be warned: I'm still too excited to keep it low... the following will be full of spoilers! *sorry*)
So after reading the second book of the Sense Thieves i was kinda confused... I mean it sucked that Asher was dead for a while... and awesome when he wasn't anymore - but I really liked the scenes with" Reming ...more
I was attracted to Corrine Jackson because this author has the same name as me, but our spelling differs. Nevertheless, this series is one of the best series I've ever read apart from the other series which I've read.
I loved Remy from the beginning of the series. Her strength and the determination as well as the pain that she endured ached my heart. No shit. My heart did crinched every time I read about those.
And this ...more
Team Gabe! I honestly never thought I would say that after reading Touched but then in Pushed he seemed to wiggle his way into my heart and then completely won me over during Ignited. In Asher's defense he has been through a heck of a lot and I still love him but sometimes no mat ...more
Netgalley gave me this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
Ignited by Corrine Jackson
Remy O’Malley is both a healer and a protector which makes her unique even to most people who have powers. However, that is not her only problem. She also has a stepmother who is in a coma, a father who is kidnapped, and a crazy grandfather who wants to capture ...more
As I said with the last 2 books, I simply loved the sense thieves trilogy. I read the books in 3 days and was simply swepted off my feet. Corrine has woven a fantastic story around Remy, Asher, Gabe, Lucy, Lottie, Ben and Erin. I cried ao often reading all 3 books and a lot of the content was simply heartbreaking. You could feel Remy grow bit by bit in her strenght and the further the book went the stronger she became. She didnt want anyone there to protect her, but she ...more
In einem aufwühl ...more
Not just the characters improved, but it was really nice to have lots of twists in the story.
Remy was thorn between the brothers Gabe and Asher.
Asher was broken because of what he suffered, for sadness because of Remy and Gabe, and for becoming human.
All this was very implied in the story, not making it fall in the same cliché that have in some books, nowadays.
I also liked the twist we have in the story between Lucy and Remy. Afterall that happened, it was to happens ...more
I loved how in the beginning Asher and Remy wouldn't kiss or touch like they did before. Then I loved how Gabe told her he loved her. I loved how they had bonded and how Remy and Asher's bond broke, and how we found out that Remy was a phoenix and her bonds were about love. I love how (this will sound mean but it adds drama) Remy's step mom died and Lucy blamed her and then everyone hated her in the beginning until Gabe ...more
This is why I hate love triangle. I always root for the one who gets discard ...more

One of the best things about this series is both the world behind it and the progression the characters make as they navigate it. I love how every Remy thought she had things figured out, something new would come along or something would change throwing a wrench into things. Not only did this keep things interesting, but it only made me fall for Remy more as she continued to persevere and stand up for what she thought was right no matter the ...more
Honestly this has been one of my favourite series. I loved all the characters especially Asher. I was really disappointed though when Asher and Remy didnt end up together. And I didnt like how when they grew apart, the author made Asher look like a coward. when he says he doesnt want to be mortal after wanting it for so long and pushing Remy away because of it. I thought at the end of Ignited they would come back together but it didnt happen.
Another thing is I ...more

In this exciting finale, Ignited will captivate fans and have them rushing to see the conclusion of their favorite characters. Ms. Jackson takes readers on a thrill ride that they never want to leave. This book picks up several months after Pushed ended. Asher, Lucy, and Remy are on the run, trying to avoid being captured by Remy's grandfather, Franc, but also trying to find her and Lucy's father. Things take a turn for the worse between Asher and Remy, and things do not look good ...more
So I was curious enough to pick up Ignited, and again, this one worked better than the second book and definitely better than the first one! I think a whole lot of this is due to the author shipping my ship. But we'll get to that.
I think that over the course of the series, Remy has grown as a person, maybe not as much as I would have wanted her to, but she has matured and has learned to trust some people again, though she still h ...more
