I've not read anything quite like The Romany Princess and certainly feel fortunate I'd taken the time. Margaret Brazear's method proved endearing as she depicts in detail a centenarian's tale of lives wronged in love and slight. It's assuredly recommended.

This book reminds me of the classic mysteries I used to read when I was younger and getting started on the genre through my mother's favorites. The writing style is impressive, far above many romance stories today.

Margaret Brazear was born in 1948 in London where she remained until she married in 1968. Ever since she can remember, she has always had a vivid imagination, making up little scenarios and stories. Her maternal grandmother was Romany and her first full length book, The Romany Princess, is loosely based on the stories that her mother used to recount.

Margaret started writing some thirty years ago,
