This is the sequel to the brilliant story of future war, Standing Alone.
It doesn’t disappoint. Imagine a dystopian world where a powerful EuroForce occupies Great Britain while secessionist forces, led by the young British aristocrat Lady Elizabeth Sinclaire, assisted by disgraced mek officer and mercenary, “Shotgun” Mike Halsey, battle it out to free the UK. The brutal occupying power is led by the flamboyant General Lavalle – who models himself on a Napoleonic hussar.
