I really liked this book because it's a nuts-and-bolts, for-the-beginning-beginner... like me! Fink answers questions about things you wouldn't have even thought of, and prepares you for the good as well as the uncomfortable as you start a practice.

easy read so far. jewish meditation brings a spiritual connection to G-D and individual. while buddhism tries to "empty" you out, jewish meditation tries to "fill you up" with good

The best, most reasonable thing I've read on meditation since Lawrence LeShan's "How To Meditate" several decades ago!
