If you are looking for your next feel good, funny read, look no further. The Other-C Word was all kinds of hilarious, fun and sexy, but there were also an actual story too!
Sex was real- tangible, visceral and primitive. Love was mystical, elusive, vague and obscure. Sex was atmospheric, but love was ethereal. I chose sex every time.
Marley doesn’t do relationships and she doesn’t do love. She doesn’t sleep around, but the guys she is with know what it is. It’s sex. Just sex.

A hot couple, one sexy denim suit, a wedding, a traumatic past, spread sheets, bar fights, Zesty bars, German chocolate cake, and sadly a plant is murdered all in the course of this story.

This is the story of Marley Mason, a woman who has demons and doesn’t do relationships. She is surrounded by her kickass family and loves her job. I have to say that she was a really likable main character.

3.5 maybe.

Although I wasn’t a dressy kind of girl, I did enjoy a man in a good suit, and this was an all you can eat breakfast buffet of hot men in suits

I liked this one but did not LOVE it. I finished The Do-Over and really liked it so decided to stick with this author. Bad idea, maybe, as my expectation were too high. I nearly stopped reading about 40% in but it did improve for the last 50% or so.

Does love die out, like the light in a dead star?

I loved it! What a sweet, fun, light read!

Oh this book was soo funny!!
There is absolutely no valid reason that anyone CANNOT like this!!

The Other C-Word--in case you're wondering--is commitment and Marley is against it 100%. She prefers no strings sex with her "rotation" to relationships. Until Mr. Cheapskate comes along.

Meet Mr. Cheapskate:

Marely is sent to pick up said Mr. Cheapskate at the airport. This was the start of my laugh-fest! Mr. Cheapskate is also known as Rick Randy. And Rick the Dick has come to save the company Marley works for. Rick requ

Let’s start with one little question, was I the only perv that thought the C word meant c*nt not commitment? I mean, look at the cover! It’s almost mocking me, before I read the blurb I was 100% sure it’s about that word!

Anyway, The Other C-word is fantastic read! Sexy, amusing, quirky and with one fine piece of hot man in suit and feisty heroine. Everything I love in my book packed in great romance novel that made me have a blast! I laughed pretty hard, almost crying few times. I was hot and bo

3 -- IT WENT FROM FUNNY TO WEIRD -- Stars. This book started off with one of the funniest scenes I have read in a long time, and I was prepared for another great read by this author. And while it was a really good read over all, I felt it got bogged down with a lot of "I can't be with you, but I want you so much" drama as it tried to build the tension and relationship between Rick and Marley.

On the plus side, there were some really hot and tension filled moments between them. The chemistry was

See, I love finding books like this that no one seems to know about, they just come out of no where and they're absolutely amazing.
Bravo Miss Schiller!
This book made me laugh so freaking hard I had to drop my E-Reader for a moment to roll on the floor, made me swoon too many times to count and made me bawl my eyes out for Marley.
Why doesn't this book have more ratings? Seriously! It's the definition of perfection. I haven't read a book like this in such a long time.

I feel like this book was written specially for me; absolutely everything I love in a story was present in The Other C Word, comical, smart, romantic and full of amazing music. I'm now experiencing mayor book depression because I never wanted this book to end, one thing is for sure, I'll never forget about this amazing characters and I'm sure I will be reading this novel many times in the future. I read The Other C Word in one sitting and after much laughter, tears and serious swooning, Rick, Marley and Marley’s crazy and lovable family well and truly had me under their spell.

What started out as such a fun and funny read, soon became one of heartbreak, pain and healing. This really was a tale of two books.

The innuendos, the cheeky flirting, the double-entendre’s which introduced this book certainly had the makings of a fun, frivolous and entertaining escape and there were time

Who wants to be a part of this family?!

Loved all the characters in this book. Marley's family was completely awesome and hilarious. Love their perverted minds. I could definitely see myself fitting in quite nicely with them.

I loved this author's other book The Do-Over. That book's characters and banter was endearing and hilarious. This book...the heroine just annoyed me. The hero is compared to Chris Pine and should really be hot in my head...until he opens his mouth. Rick is a new consultant hired to cut costs for Marley's company but some of the stuff he said was total sexual harassment. If it

I love it when I find a "PERFECT" book, a "COMPLETE" book.
A book that can make me laugh so hard, cry, and touched at the same time.
And this book is a "COMPLETE" one.

I enjoyed reading every single page, every scene and I loved all of the characters.

The main characters are adorable.
And the others just make this book more beautiful.

Marley Mason, a beautiful young woman, who has a bitter past.

I really liked Rick. He was flirty, sweet, protective, caveman... I could go on. The family was crazy and there was plenty of chuckle-worthy moments. I loved the back and forth banter between Rick and Marley.

I found the Other C-Word to be a very an enjoyable book. The sexual tension is sky high and you fall in love right away with Rick Randy. He is now one of my top book boyfriends!!

Marley works for a company that is having financial troubles and is worried about how much longer she will have a job. One of her bosses calls her up and tells her she needs to pick up the man who is hired to fix the company’s problems. With only a few minutes to get to the airport, Marley dresses up to try to

I confess to contemplating ceasing center of this contemporary. I concede that consistent continuation cultivated concordant compensation since the conclusion was one of complete contentment. (Oh, how I cherish this communicating in the “c” correlation.)

The Other C-Word is a new adult, contemporary storyline that focuses on one woman’s struggle and desire to be accepted for who and what she is. Marley Mason is a beautiful, young woman with some major demons in her past and it is those demons that control her present life. Enter Rick Randy, the man hired to fix the problems at Marley’s company and the man who is hoping for something more from Marley Mason.

The storyline follows Rick and Marley’s growing relationship with another but als

It was an awkward first meeting with Rick at the airport when Marley picked him up. He's going to be her new boss for another 4 months.

Thanks to my bestie, Shea, for her rec...I loved it!!

I could have rated it 5 stars, I really REALLY loved it (and really loved Rick, too) but what I disliked about it most was how bitchy Marley came off at first. When a hot guy flirts with you, do you really yell at him and tell him to stop? Hellllll no, you embrace it and seduce him for compliments ;) lol In all honesty though, she really needed to lighten up. I understand she has 'issues' and I don't blame her, but she came off too harsh and I
Enthralling, wrenching, emotional, and captivating!

M.K. Schiller also creates a wickedly funny, truly, deeply romantic story.

A phenomenal debut... Absolutely riveting!

OH.MY.GOD! I love this book. It was funny and it kept my attention throughout the whole entire book. I didn't want it to end. Rick & Marley were cracking me up. Their banter back and forth was so funny and when they finally did the deed...HOLY MACARONI! It was HOT! I had to fan myself a couple of times. I love books like this!
I don't think I can ever be objective when it comes to reviewing a book. Of course, I draw the line when the story's obviously messed up or just not convincing or realistic enough, but mostly, I don't really care about the little things. With this book, although it wasn't perfect, the overall feeling that I still got afterwards was one of complete warmth and satisfaction. :)
I really loved this book, the characters were so true. I loved Marley she wasn't a whiney girl and i loved her story with Rick.I truly and honestly recommended it!!!
3-3.5 stars!

The Other C-Word was a good book.It had all the elements that would make it a great read but Marley's 'issues' didn't quite sit well with me.It was the same thing-'Heroine pushes hero away as she's broken, hero loves her, they realize they can't live without each other and then follows the HEA.'

So,for me,this book had a been there-done that kind of vibe.It honestly could've been so much better had it not been for Marley's problems, her thinking that she wasn't good enough for Rick, her c
Funny. Sexy. Witty. Heart-melting.

Those are just a few examples of what you will encounter while reading this book.

Marley is a 'spunky' woman whom goes through her life dressing as a tomboy and who is passionate about her job at Henley, Inc. Marley goes through her life taking pleasure from men because she fears the word 'commitment'. However, when her career seems to be at the final stages due to a big-wig, Chris Pine look-a-like showing up to help 'revamp' the company she works for, Marley ju
