Bob Kuyruklu yıldızı her 15 yılda bir Eylül ayında eynı gün ve aynı saatte Endicott kasabasında görülüyor ve bilimadamları bile bu konuda bir açıklama yapamıyor.. Bu da onunla ilgili değişik batıl inançlara sebep oluyor..
Bob'un çıktığı yıl doğanlar, 15 yıl sonraki bir sonraki ziyaretinde dilek dilerlerse 3. gelişinde o dileklerinn kabul olacağına inanıyorlar.. Ve yıldızın ortaya çıktığı günlerdeki garip davranışları için de onu suçluyorlar..
