Dan Parrott
Solid book about pre-9/11 DSS terrorism-related investigations. Not excessively chest-thumping or ego/resume-boosting, it felt like a fair summary of the early days dealing with the militant Al Qaeda threat. I did feel like the book could have used a more updated postscript, something that summarized the post 9/11 era in DSS with regard to these topics. Definitely something the author should consider if this book is ever re-released. Dated, but would still recommend.

Burning bomb factories, devastating explosions, demented plots of mass killing--these are the sign posts on the road in an underworld of terror, where murder and deception are the currency of the kingdom. Samual Katz has told the story as only he could, with the skill of a first-rate Middle East security expert and special-ops writer.
