The title pretty aptly describes what's inside, and since the page count makes it clear this isn't a massive tome, you can probably guess it's an overview, not a detailed rendering of the crimes profiled. If you're hoping for a detailed account of the murders committed by the serial killers listed, you're going to be disappointed, since this is more of an index than a true crime story. If you're looking for brief overviews of these women's lives and murders, like I was, this is a very handy book ...more

A dry concise look at women who murder serially. The facts made it interesting, as did the accompanying pictures. I appreciate the addition of the pictures of each woman. They liked to poison.
