So this guy and I differ on hotel/hostel styles. He is much more into swanky and minimalist, and in Spain I always go for clutter dives. This book also has a ton of info on the gay scene in Madrid. Restaurant reviews are a little lacking. Oh, it also includes really fun walking tours or different occasions.
