A really interesting approach. I wish I had this book when my kids were younger. The idea of using play and humor is one that really appeals to me. Also, the idea of allowing kids to cry and supporting them through the tears (rather than saying, "Don't cry!") is one that resonates with me. They're crying for a reason and it's better to get those emotions out. There definitely are a few ideas in this book that I'll try out.
