I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I picked it up at random while enduring a long wait for an appointment. By the time I left, I was over halfway though the book and hooked. Lucky for me the secretary said I could take the book with me.

I love Reba's character! She shows amazing strength in this book. A hard worker, devoted friend and neighbor in her community. She has a short-lived affair with wealthy Lucas and ends up pregnant. Months later he is back in town and it just so happens tha

This was a heartwarming story! After reading this book, it made me know just how blessed I was when I carried both of my kids to term.

Reba’s water broke when she was only 6 and a half months. She was taking by ambulance to a hospital that had a good Neonatal unit. After Maggie was born she had to stay in NICU for weeks. This should have been way more compelling, I can't even imagine parents in this situation. The anxiety wasn't as sharp as it should have been which is disappointing. Not bad but there are better easy, breezy reads.
