This book was surprisingly awesome. Sure there were plenty of the classic Martha "who has time for that?" projects, but in more then one case I had to admit the projects look cool/fun enough that I will probably make the time if I have to. For the most part projects tend toward a sort of Victorian aesthetic and are in many cases the sort of thing that with a bit of design tweaking could be a pretty project for any time of the year.

Martha rarely lets you down. While some of the recipes seem daunting compared to Gooseberry's easier ones, there is definitely a level of witch chic that only Martha could achieve. One of my favorite Halloween books (I have 8!)... it's like having the last few years' of the October issue of MSLiving magazines in one place. There are ideas for pumpkin carving, home decorating, outside decorating, costumes for kids and adults, party themes, and a fair amount of decent recipes. Also, there are templates and resource guides for everything she shows in the book.

I am on a huge Fall/Autumn/Halloween kick right now and this book is kind of the queen of Halloween books. I adore Martha Stewart and her Halloween ideas and projects are fantastic!
Martha has so many Halloween ideas, this book didn't show any of them really. I get more out of her website.
great ideas and yummy autumn recipes. definitely inspires you to get in the spirit of the season.
Great ideas; but as always alot of them can get expensive and time consuming!
