Twelve-year-old Frank and his little brother Jim leave their hometown and move to the mountains with their parents, aunt, and uncle to run a lodge while their mother campaigns for women’s right to vote. Occasional black-and-white pencil illustrations bring the well-rounded characters to life. This book is great for girls and boys ages 8 through 12. I learned more about the rights of women to vote in our country.
