This is a great book for younger kids! All of the key terms are highlighted and there are several pictures of the kids doing whatever it is the word is. For example "play" is written at the top of the page, used in a sentence and there are several pictures of kids playing. At the end of the book is a group of all the words and the picture to go along with it to help the kids remember what they were. Many children are anxious about starting pre-k. this book is a way for the teacher to introduce exactly what will be taking place throughout the days in pre-k from the time the students enter in the morning, til the time they leave.
There wasn't anything wrong with this book; I just didn't like it. My daughter, the one who was starting PreK, didn't care for it either. She kept looking over at the other books, probably wishing I had picked one of those instead!
