Excelent and inspiring book on the Wisdom of Herman Hesse, mostly the one transmited in his book "The Woolf of the Stepes" (not sure if this is the title in English!) but also on Siddharta, Demian, Narciss und Goldmund and other authors.

Though they classify the book as one of "self help" - a category so used and abused that it makes one nauseated! - it was quite a happy surprise, as it is really inspiring and inducive of reflection and serenity.
Definitely a Good read!

I read the greek edition of this book and I found it rather disappointing. This book is a collection of 66 quotations by Hermann Hesse developed narrowly, shallowly, and without any structure. Unfortunately, the author of this book couldn't give to the reader even a small taste of the richness and deepness in Hesse's books.
