David was his first, and nothing will stand in his way to get back what belongs to him. Nothing!

Four years ago things had been very different. In trouble with the mob and suicidal, Aaron's twin brother, Troy, needed to get rid of his life. So he'd handed it over to Aaron. And when Aaron's impersonation of his twin brother was revealed, Aaron feared losing the man he loved,

The phrase evil twin is defined by Wiktionary as: "A duplicate or counterpart of something or someone that acts in a contrary, nefarious, or insidious manner." In 'Man in the Mirror' by A.J. Llewellyn and D.J. Manly, Troy (Randy) Aaron's sociopathic twin brother, gives this definition new meaning. When he returns from the death he faked, he's got one thing in mind and that's getting David back. He's altered his appearance, but there is no way he can completely mask his personality or his manneri ...more

Complete nut job. One crazy psychopath on the loose with his eyes set on one objective.

You'll either read this guilty pleasure for what it is or you'll groan that it's too obvious, too contrived and to Fu@ked Up. The villain in this book is so manipulative and tossing so many seeds of discontent around that eventually he'll have to be caught, but how soon? How much is lost?

A lot. Lives are lost and ruined in this fast-paced thriller. Throw in some nasty sex and an idyllic setting and you've got

Please leave comments on Pattycake's 4 1/2 sweet pea review at

Man in the Mirror by AJ Llewellyn and DJ Manly continues the gripping story started in Mirrors. It starts four years after Mirror ends with Aaron and David running a B and B on a small Hawaiian island. The blurb tells the basic facts of the book, but there is so much more to this thriller. I dare not add anything else because it could spoil it.

This is a character and plot driven tale that pull

This story is part of a series and must be read in order. For four years Aaron and David have had a fantastic loving relationship, they might have started out rocky but they are on solid ground now. Running a B & B is hard work but Aaron wouldn’t change a thing, David is still a personal trainer and he misses him when he is away but they are living a life in paradise. Randy has set his plans in motion, he has waited four years to take his li

I can't decide if it was a telenovela or a TV drama.

Well, one thing I can say. Dude. Troy's totes certifiable. It's great. In a "this is a book" sort of way. Because actual killing is bad, of course.

Eh. I dunno. Did I like it? Hard to tell. It was so hectic. And I remembered so little of bk 1.

Do people really react that way? Is it really easy to get duped? That's why I have issues with it. How realistic is it for someone to insinuate themselves into the lives of others? Now, I'm parano

I was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.

I will begin this by saying that I did not read book 1.

I loved this story. It's not often that you get to see exact opposites in a story.

This tale had mystery, murder, love, deception and sacrifice. Troy was devious to the Nth degree - which I loved. But, he was also conniving and manipulative, which was awesome for this story. I loved to hate t

I didn't really know how to rate this book. I was torn between giving it 3.5 stars or 4 stars but I decided on the latter at the end of the book.

Book two was a frustrating and thrilling journey for me. While I expected some trouble in paradise between Aaron and David because of Randy's presence,as what the blurb says, I didn't thought it would be this complicated. I was really shocked when after a couple of pages, I realized how this would play out. I was really thrilled of how the author carefu

3.5 rounding to 4 cos I'm feeling generous. :3

It's not as wild and exciting as the first book, but it was still a satisfying read.
I don't like how Aaron persona becomes too feminine here (I meant he sounds like a well-trained housewife!!), but it also makes him adorable. Oh well...

A.J. Llewellyn lives in California, but dreams of living in Hawaii. Frequent trips to all the islands, bags of Kona coffee in the fridge and a healthy collection of Hawaiian records keep this writer refueled.

A.J’s passion for the islands led to writing a play about the last ruling monarch of Hawaii, Queen Lili’uokalani as well as a non-erotic novel about the overthrow of her kingdom written in dia
