I like the idea of using picspam in a review, but I usually come up with nothing when I type in the keywords - or at least I don't find pics that I like or fit, and the HTML is a bitch. But guess what? Here I have a book where the opening scene has something with pictures ALLLLLLLLLL over the internet, but it's just too porny to use.

Not a problem. There's plenty of fodder. I'll come up with something here.

I've been on a roll with asshat jerkwad heroes lately, and I simply can't get enough of the
This read was as pleasant as the Ebola virus. Simple as that.

I was looking for a light read. The hero was Greek so I thought I should give it a try. Ugh. I've never been so wrong.

The plot was nonexistent, because, seriously, a guy buying his wife for a week just for sex is just not an actual storyline. Or, more accurately, it could be if something was different. For "something" read "characters".

So, no. I did not like Alexei Christou. He was a douchebag. True, a Greek filthy-rich douchebag but a

No a likable hero. Heroine a doormat. Some of these HPs the girls make such odd decisions. Odd distasteful scene of o**l sex on first page with another woman. To be fair, I picked this off a list of worst HPs ever just to check out what others felt was bad. Should have just trusted them. :-)
This was the first book I read by Sharon Kendrick and it's one of the few books I have read by her, I think they are 5 or 6
Thanks GOD I found other new romance authors, I stopped to read her books!
The hero was a JERK (with capital letters) The way he treated the heroine was horrible! Even in the first scene of the book, when his wife called him after all those years of separation to ask him the divorce, his secretary or PA was doing him a b*** job (while he was talking on the phone with his wi

Neither the hero nor the heroine were particularly likeable.

I thought I was okay with cheating Hs, but apparently not, because that is one of the reasons I gave this book a low rating. Also, (view spoiler)

Heroine also came off as too whiny for my liking.

Admitted, sexual chemistry was off the rocks.

But (view spoiler)
don't even wanna waste my time n energy to type the review, most disgusting horrible nauseating book

All the issues were left as it is and hero trated his wife worse then a prostitute and most disgusting part she let him do it

Do not even touch the book if you have not read it,as i m doing only reading reviews is enough to leave a sour taste

Do Not Recommend it

This is a reunion romance. Victoria and Alexei had a stormy marriage. Hero was rich, heroine was poor and very young. Hero was also a workaholic and that made his young bride feel lonely and insecure. Their marriage ended when Alexei found Victoria in the arms of another man.

Now 7 years later heroine asks for a divorce cause she is in need of money. Hero accepts but only if she becomes his mistress.

I have no idea why this book has so many negative reviews. Yes the hero is not celibate but do y

alex treated victoria abominably! he was so harsh and vindictive! u wud think he caught her in bed wid another man!! but no he just caught her living wid another man and was livid! he cultivated this bitterness over 7 years. so ofc when he had her again in his grasp, he wud punish and belittle her. why the heroine gave him dat opportunity is beyond me! it was not a matter of life and death dat she so needed the money for. he was so wrong abt her and he never did grovel. she just fell back into h ...more
This book is a suprise for me. At the beginning, we saw the hero talking at the phone with the heroine while he was receiving a special attention from his employee... That scene killed me. I mean, how hypocrite he was judging and condemning the heroine for being found with OM when he wasn't celibate at all. I wanted to kick him from the beginning for his double standards and I finished loving him because he redeemed himself so well!!

The heroine, on the other hand, was true to herself... but a bi
2.5 stars. This was just an okay read for me. The beginning was enjoyable but then the story dulled along the way. Also, the whole deal about the wife being the mistress was just TSTL for me.
I really wanted the hero to redeem himself, but it was not to be. After a seven year separation in which she dated no one, he went through was sounds like a dozen women. A very unsatisfactory HEA.

While I "liked it" I didn't like the hero. AT ALL.

At least at the end he admits that he doesn't deserve her and she rightfully agrees.

AND he never apologizes for all the horrible things he thought, did and said to her! He shows remorse for one horrible thing he did at the beginning of the book after they'd been separated for 7 years, but NOTHING ELSE! And the list is long!

For example, he should've said, "I'm sorry for thinking you cheated on me

Seriously unlike able hero (view spoiler) I wasn't too much fonder of the heroine who was a perfect doormat from start to finish. I didn't find anything romantic about their relationship. Blah. Big miss.

Alexei and Victoria were married for a short time, and a simple misunderstanding tore them apart. Fast forward 7 years, and Victoria needs to contact Alexei and ask for a divorce and a settlement. When she rings him, he is being "serviced" by the receptionist. A lot of people have commented that it was disgusting. I must admit I thought so too, but after reading the book, I realised that they were actually separated for 7 years and you cant really expect him to have lived the life of a monk.

I knew before I started it that it 'd be a dumb read, but it's ok when I just want something silly to relax wuth.
This is beyond ridiculous.
To start with, Alexei is not a greek name. That would be Alexandros or Alexios.
Second, the author probably used google translate to interprete the greek words she mentioned. And she failed in most of them. As a greek, reading them as they were written was something between funny and irritating. When you are not sure about your ability to use a foreign languag
I think this has to be my favorite Sharon Kendrick book. I really liked it, and i think the bad reviews are unfair. Just because he slept with other women doesn't make him bad. He thought she cheated on him, so he was justified and in addition they were seperated. He was a bit harsh i agree, but somehow throughout it all i had the feeling that he loved her.

This is HP, it is not PC and it shouldn't be, because it's a guilty pleasure and if it starts becoming too PC like everything else then it wo

A quick romance and an even quicker marriage. That's how Victoria Christou summerizes her relationship with Greek Billionaire, Alexei Christou. Always feeling alone after they married, Victoria made a trip home while Alexei was on business. But catching her in a seemingly unfaithful situation leaves her. Now seven years later and in need of money, Vitoria goes to Alexei for a divorce. Still thinking she cheated on her, Alexei still has a want for her burning in his stomach. So he makes her a dea ...more

I would like to rate this less than 1 star. The storyline and characters are so very bad. It starts off with the hero getting a bj from his receptionist. His estranged wife calls and he answers but not before internally debating should he continue with the bj while he talks to the cheating lying whore wife. It goes downhill very fast from here. The heroine takes all his verbal abuse and seems to beg for more. We never really find out what happens to her best friend who she is actually whoring he ...more

I was looking for a short, cheesy love book, a Greek protagonist(I love greeks) and the kind of story when he tries to get her back and all that stuff, but... Oh my God of all the books of this kind I've read this is by far the worst!

I was told off as a child for making up stories—little did I know that one day I’d earn my living by writing them!

To the horror of my parents, I left school at sixteen and held a bewildering variety of jobs: I was a London DJ (in the now-trendy Primrose Hill), a decorator and a singer. After that I became a cook, a photographer and, eventually, a nurse. I waitressed in the south of France, drove a
